Ingredients

500 g ground pork

200 g peeled and chopped shrimp

1 cup grated carrots

1 cup chopped onion

1 cup finely chopped cabbage

2 cloves of garlic, minced

1 egg

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 package of lumpia wrappers

frying oil

salt to taste

pepper to taste

Preparation

In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped shrimp, shredded carrots, onion, cabbage, garlic, egg, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Mix all ingredients well until fully combined.

Take a lumpia wrapper and place a spoonful of the mixture in the center.

Fold the sides of the wrapper inward and roll from the bottom up, making sure the filling is well sealed.

Repeat the process until you have used all the mixture.

Heat enough oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.

When the oil is hot, fry the lumpias in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

Fry the lumpias for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Remove the lumpias and place them on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.

Serve hot with sauce of your choice.
