These vegan Christmas sausages are the perfect festive treat for vegans and non-vegans alike! They're made with a blend of potatoes ,vegan mince and spices, and they're packed with plant-based protein. They're the perfect addition to your Christmas dinner, or you can simply enjoy them on their own as a snack
Once cooked, you can just heat it for the christmas table, or fry it so that it gets color if you like it. The christmas sausage goes wonderfully with the turnip in mustard dressing.
Servings ; 6 sausages
Ingredients
500 g vegan soy mince
250 floury potatoes, boiled
100 g cream, eg oat or soy cream
1 tbsp tomato puree
1 teaspoon ground allspice
0.5 tsp ground clove
salt
white pepper
For cooking
2 liters of water or vegan broth
2 vegetable bouillon cubes
bay leaves
5 allspice grains
5 white peppercorns
Preparation
Pour the minced soy mince, potatoes, cream and tomato puree into a food processor. Mix to a fairly smooth batter. Scrape into a bowl.
Season the minced meat with allspice, cloves, salt and pepper.
Shape the batter into 9 sausages and wrap in a sheet of aluminum foil.
Boil all the ingredients for the cooking.
Place the sausages wrapped in foil and simmer for 20 minutes. Take up and let cool slightly before removing them from the foil.
