Ingredients
2 kg mixed mutton
150 g pork fat
2 onion ,chopped
2 Red peppers ,chopped
1 pinch pepper
1 pinch cumin
4 chopped garlic
200 g tomato puree
thyme
tarragon
marjoram
1.5 kg potato
100 g butter
Preparation
Cut the mutton into small pieces. Heat the fat and saute the small diced onions in it. Add the red peppers, pepper, cumin, chopped garlic, peeled tomatoes and heat for a few moments.
Add the mutton and fry the outside thoroughly until whitened, then pour in enough water to cover it. On low heat for approx. Cook for 2 hours. We add the herbs half time.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes and cook in salted water. In the pan, melt the butter and fry the cooked potato cubes on the outside. The stew is served with potatoes and sauerkraut or rice or pasta .
