This is the christmas version of berry apple jam .We use frozen berry as it easy to make jam using them.This is the best way to use berries during holidays .You can also use to present them.


Ingredients 

750 g of frozen berry mix

250 g of apples

2 Teaspoon gingerbread spice

500 g of preserving sugar (2: 1)

Preparation

 Take the frozen berries out of the freezer and let them thaw at room temperature. Rinse out about 6 jars with hot water so that they are sterile.

 Wash, peel and quarter the apples and remove the core. Then cut into small cubes.

 Put the apple pieces in a large saucepan, cook with a little water for about 10 minutes until soft and then puree.

 Add the berries, 2-3 teaspoons of gingerbread spices and the preserving sugar and bring to the boil while stirring. Let the Christmas jam boil for about 4 minutes, then check the consistency with the help of the jelly sample.

 Pour the jam into the prepared jars, close tightly and place on the lid for 5 minutes. Then turn it over and let the Christmas jam cool down completely.
