Christmas BBQ sauce

A Christmas firework of flavors for meat. Christmas BBQ sauce is equally suitable as a marinade or a dip.

Whether it's winter grilling or chicken legs from the oven - if you want to give your poultry a Christmas flavor, you will get your money's worth with this Christmas BBQ sauce .

Tomatoes and olive oil serve as the base, which is then refined with onions and spices. Chili, tabasco and paprika powder give the sauce a touch of spiciness, while honey, star anise, cinnamon and allspice add a Christmas touch. The result is a fruity sauce that goes perfectly with poultry.

To marinate, put the meat in a large bowl (alternatively: zip bag), add the sauce and cover it completely. Cover the bowl well with cling film and place in the refrigerator for a few hours so that the meat can absorb the taste of the sauce.
