At christmas it should be a Christmas version of the Bolo. That's why cinnamon, bay leaves and parsnips are added .

Ingredients
50g chopped bacon
2 onions
1 garlic clove
200g parsnips or carrots
2 tbsp oil
400g mixed minced meat
2 tbsp tomato paste
200 ml red wine or broth if want non alcholic
1 can of tomatoes
1 cinnamon stick
2 small bay leaves
500g spaghetti or macaroni
preparation
Finely chop the bacon, onions and garlic clove. Peel the parsnip or carrot and cut into cubes about 1 cm in size.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan, fry the bacon in it for 3 minutes and remove. Fry the minced meat in the frying fat, stirring, for 5 minutes over a high heat.
Add the onions, garlic and parsnips and fry for 3 minutes, seasoning with salt, pepper and 1 pinch of sugar.
Drain with the red wine and bring to the boil almost completely. Add the tomatoes, 200ml water, bacon, cinnamon stick and bay leaves and cook over a mild heat for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the noodles in plenty of boiling salted water according to the package leaflet.
Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
Drain the pasta and serve with the sauce.
