Christmas cabbage is a delicious side dish that is perfect for Christmas dinner. It is made with cabbage, cream, and butter and is simmered in a creamy and buttery sauce. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family
Preparation time ;20 minutes
1½ kg. cabbage - purified weight
50 g butter
½ l. Whipping cream
The cabbage is cut into large pieces and put into a pot of water. Add salt.
Cook until tender for 20-30 minutes.
Insert it with a sharp knife and it is easy to know if it is enough.
Pour the cabbage into a colander and allow it to cool.
When the cabbage is cold it comes in a towel - a little at a time - and the water is warped out of it.
The cabbage is finely chopped with a knife or in a food processor.
This year, I've taken the quick fix and chopped it in the food processor.
Melt the butter in a saucepan and bring the cabbage in.
Stir for a few minutes.
The cream comes in. Don't get it all in at once. It is different how much is needed.
Heat well while stirring. Serve hot
