Christmas pilaf

 



Christmas pilaf with dried apricots, raisins and cherries is a very festive Christmas main dish and also good to serve as a side dish .If you are lover of  dried fruits you will love to cook these every Christmas .This rice is made of dried cherries , not glazed cherries . You can cook this rice in a rice cooker , pressure cooker if you want .If you cook it in rice cooker you can make it in a liitle time .

It can beautify your christmas table with its colourful  apperance and it is full of fruits like Christmas cake , Pudding and also many other holiday goods .


Cooking time: 40 minutes

Serves ; 4


Ingredients 

2 cups of rice 

 1 handful of raisins

1 handful Dried apricots or dates 

1 handful of cherries

Butter 100 g 


Fry raisins, dried apricots and cherries in butter for 5 minutes. 

Then add  rice and fry for another 5 minutes.

 Add  hot water and close the lid. Cook for 30 minutes, and our pilaf is ready. Bon appetit .
