The recipe for making Christmas pickled mushrooms. According to Ukrainian traditions, mushrooms on Christmas Eve must be present on the festive table.
On the Christmas eve , twelve lenten dishes must be prepared, among which there should be mushrooms. This recipe is very easy to prepare and does not take much time.

120 g of vinegar
2 kg of mushrooms
1 tsp of salt
2 l of broth
Salt and pepper
Whole spices ( cinnamon, bay leaves, allspice)
1 onion for garnish
Instructions
First of all, you need to take two kilograms of mushrooms, preferably small mushrooms, and wash them well in cold water.
Now pour cold water into the mushrooms and put on fire. After the water boils, boil them for another five minutes, and remove the foam.
After that, drain the water from the pan. We leave the mushrooms inside the pan.
While the mushrooms were boiled, we prepared the marinade. To do this, take a small saucepan and pour one liter of water into it, add sugar, pour in vinegar, add a little salt and add spices. All this is boiled.
Fill the mushrooms with boiling marinade. Let the mushrooms cool for a while. After the marinade has cooled, we put our mushrooms in the refrigerator.
In about five hours the pickle will be completely ready to eat.
After a certain time has passed and the mushrooms have been taken out of the refrigerator, we take a large onion and cut in to large pieces. Garnish mushrooms with onion.
