Christmas meat pies





The mashed potatoes and minced meat go perfectly together. A roll-type meat pie that can be served for parties! We also make a nice chinese style sauce to serve this nice pie .Perfect to serve on Christmas dinner or as a appetizer .

Ingredients 


160g of minced beef

1/4 teaspoon of salt

Coarse ground black pepper a little

60g Onions (chopped)

2 tsp olive oil

1 tablespoon Tomato paste

 Cornstarch 10g

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon of broth powder

water 

Frozen pie sheet (10 x 18 cm) 1 sheet

Beaten egg (for painting) 1/2 

potato 250g

 salt a little

 Coarse ground black pepper a little


sauce

Cornstarch 1 tablespoon

 Parsley (dried) 1 tsp

Worcestershire sauce 2 tablespoons

 Ketchup 1 tablespoon

 sugar 1 tsp

salt a little

Coarse ground black pepper a little


Preparation


 Thaw the frozen pie sheet.

 Cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces and expose them to water (5 minutes or more).

 Preheat the oven (electricity 300 ℃ 10 to 15 minutes / gas 250 ℃ 8 to 13 minutes).



1. Put minced beef, salt and coarsely ground black pepper in a bowl and mix them together.


2. Put olive oil in a frying pan, heat and fry the onions until tender (3 minutes).


3. Place the onion on the edge, add , bake both sides, and fry with the onion until the color of the meat changes (medium to high heat) while loosening with a wooden spatula.


4. Add tomato paste and fry, and simmer until the juice is gone. Take out and remove from heat.


5. Boil the potatoes in enough water to cover them, spill the water when they become soft, and heat them again to make soft potatoes.


6. Mash while hot, add and mix to remove the rough heat.


7. Wrap  in a wrap to make a cylinder (diameter 5 cm, length about 15 cm).


8. Place  on the wrap, shape it into a rectangle (about 15 cm in length and about 20 cm in width), wrap it with , wrap it in wrap and cool it (15 minutes or more).


9. Extend the frozen pie sheet into a rectangle (18 x 22 cm) and wrap it around  to firmly hold the binding.


10. Place on a tray  with parchment and brush the surface with beaten eggs, make cuts in a grid pattern with a kitchen knife, and bake in the oven (about 10 to 15 minutes).


11. Cut into the desired size, mix everything for sauce , and serve pies with it .
