Christmas fruit spring rolls

 


These festive spring rolls are the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season. They're filled with a delicious combination of ice cream ,fruits  ,nuts and they're wrapped in a crispy wonton wrapper. Serve them with your  oranges for a delicious and easy dessert  or appetizer .

Serving ; 4 people
Preparatin time ; 40 minutes 

Ingredients  

2 pears

150 g dried fruits, mixed

200 ml  white brandy or apple juice 

50 g almonds, chopped

8 sheets of spring roll

1 dash of butter

2 scoops  chocolate ice cream

4 pieces of oranges, separate into pieces 

1 handful of mint




preparation

 Peel and halve the pears and remove the core. Cut into thin slices and mix  together with the dried fruits, add the almonds  and brandy and mix everything well. Chill in the freezer.

Take ice cream and mix with the fruit mass. Place in the freezer.

Roll out the spring roll  and brush with the liquid butter, put a second sheet on top so that it is thicker.

 Place the ice-cream fruit mixture on top, brush the edge of the dough with egg white and roll it into a spring roll.


Fry  the spring roll in hot oil and drain on kitchen paper. Arrange in a deep plate, garnish with the oranges and mint.
