This christmas cookies are beautiful , delicious and mouth watering .It is full of christmas colors with red and green cherries and white almonds
Good to share with friends or to have with tea or coffe .
Baking time ; 10 minutes
Serves ; 12 -15
1-1 / 4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon soda
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 cup of butter
1/4 cup of vegetable fat or shortening
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract or zest
Vanilla flavor 1 tsp
1/4 cup of sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup small diced candied red cherries
1/4 cup small diced green cherries
1/4 cup of almond flakes
PREPARATION
Cream the butter, fat , brown sugar, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract .
Incorporate the dry ingredients into the creamy mixture and add the almonds and candied fruits.
Roll in waxed paper or parchment and chill in the refrigerator and cut 1/4 inch thick.
Bake at 375 degrees F. 8 to 10 minutes
