Christmas carbonara

 Besides roasted turkey , ham or chicken pasta is great to serve at christmas specially at the night .This is a recipe for christmas baked spaghetti carbonara .It is more festive and colourful than normal carbonara .



Cooking time ; 30 minutes

Serves ; 4 -6

Ingredients


200g bacon or sausages

1 tbsp cooking oil , if use sausages

2 tbsp seasonig (garlic, onion, basil, herbs in powder or paste)

 6 eggs

Black pepper 

150g  grated parmesan

 350ml of fresh cream

200g of ham  diced

100g of apricots or raisins ,diced 

 100g of chopped walnuts

400g  of spaghetti , cooked according to package directions

 150g grated mozzarella


Preparation 


Heat oven to 350 F or 175 C .

Saute the bacon or sausages ( add oil if use sausages) with ham and seasoning.

 In an ovenproof dish add the eggs, the cream, mix well until it is very homogeneous, add the other ingredients including the cooked pasta and the bacon  with the ham.

Place on a platter. Sprinkle parmesan on top. Bake on  the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

 Serve immediately.
