5 Dried figs or dates
50 grams of shelled walnuts
50 grams of almonds
40 grams of chocolate bar
30 g Raisins
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
60 grams of orange marmalade
60 grams of honey or melted sugar
50 grams of granulated sugar
For the shortcrust pastry
250 gr of flour
1 egg
60 gr of granulated sugar
70 gr of cane sugar
80 gr of butter
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1 pinch of baking powder
icing sugar to dust
Preparation
To prepare these delicious sweets, you start by putting the raisins and dried figs in a bowl with water. In the meantime, prepare the shortcrust pastry by putting all the ingredients in a bowl of a mixer and knead until you get a smooth and compact dough that will be placed in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap for at least 30 minutes.
Once the raisins and figs are ready, it will take about 10-15 minutes, take them out of the water, dry them and put them in a large bowl with the chopped almonds and walnuts. The chopped chocolate is also added to the bowl, mixed and then added, cocoa, honey and jam only at the end. finally, it must be mixed well all the ingredients.
At this point the shortcrust pastry has cooled down and when it is rolled out, obtaining a 3 mm rectangle. It is well stuffed with the filling and then rolled up to obtain a loaf that will then close at the end. At this point cut into slices of 3 cm and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and cook for 20 minutes at 180 ° C.
Once cooked, they are dusted with powdered sugar .
