A very easy recipe to make christmas cookies .If you want you can add chocolate chips .There is no need to ice them .
Make dough a day before baking and freeze it a day as it is a important part of making them.
Preparation time ; 30 minutes
175 gr butter
200 g sugar
400 gr flour
2 whole eggs
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 pinch of salt
3 egg yolks
Beat butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla. In a different bowl mix the baking powder, flour and salt.
Combine the two mixtures and if we want to decorate them with dark or colored chocolate chips, we can mix it into the dough and if it is too sticky put a little flour
Divide the dough into two parts, wrap in film and leave in the freezer for 2 hours and then take it out and leave it in the fridge for 24 hours.
Heat the oven to 180º. With a rolling pin roll one of the parts of the dough until it reaches 1 cm thick. Then with the typical cookie molds cut the dough into the shape that want
In the tray that we will put in the oven, we put a little flour so that the dough of the cookies does not stick to the tray.
Bake them in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the cookies are golden.
