Christmas compote

 



Fragrant and spicy christmas compote with less ingredients to serve over puddings ,cakes and ice cream .


The aroma is nice and sweet .Divide the compote in ice cube trays and set in the freezer. You can then put them in small bags and thus defrost only the desired amount and keep your compote to enjoy long time .


Preparation time : 15 min

Cooking time: 1 hour


800 g  of apple

Oranges 3 

60 g sugar

200 ml of water

1 teaspoon of  mixed spices 



Preparation


Peel, remove the seeds and cut the apples into cubes.

Put in a saucepan with the spices, water and sugar.

Cook over low heat and cover, watching carefully.

After 30 min add the oranges in quarters (having removed the white skin) and  add a little water if it starts to stick.

Cook slowly until the apples and oranges are crushed by themselves.

Mix carefully.
