Christmas puff pastries

An easy fish  canapes for Christmas parties .Use boneless white fishes to make these . We fill baked pastry lids with  a creamy fish filling .
If you do not have fish stock powder use seafood broth or chicken broth  .

preparation time ; 30 minutes 
serves ;   4

Ingredients 

1 Puff pastry roll
300 g White fish fillets in pieces
1 Egg yolk
3 tbsp fish stock powder   
150 ml heavy cream
15 g Butter
15 g Flour
1 tsp. curry powder
Salt
Pepper

Preparation 

Preheat the oven th. 7 (210 ° C). Unroll the dough, cut 8 circles. 

Place 4 on a baking sheet,  brush them with egg yolk. 

Hollow out the other 4 circles around the each rounds to shape like lids, place them on the first ones, egg wash them. 

Bake for 15 min.

Dissolve the stock in 300 ml  of water and poach the fish for 5 minutes over low heat.

Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the flour. Mix with 150 ml of stock and the cream. Cook for 5 minutes while whisking. Season with salt, pepper and  curry. Add the drained fish. 


Divide among the puffs. Serve immediately.
