This is a easy to prepare christmas tea in a teapot .You just have to add spices to teapot and add hot tea in to the kettle before serving .If you do not have a teapot use a jug or a metal cup covered with a lid .If you like add some Cointreau ,orange liquor at the end .
1 1/2 Oranges
2 1/2 untreated lemons
3/4 l water
4 sugar cubes or sugar to taste
4 bags or 4 tsp of black tea
20 Cloves
Pour boiling hot water over the tea leaves in the tea filter and let them steep for about 5 minutes .Strain if use tea leaves. Rub the zest of two lemons with the sugar cubes and place in a teapot.
Cut half an orange into slices, spice the skin all around with cloves and also put in the teapot.
Pour in the tea and juice of half a lemon and an orange. Let it steep briefly before serving.
