Juicy Christmas Turkey


Delicious juicy baked turkey recipe for Christmas , easy to make and with which you will get a very juicy baked turkey. Without a doubt, this is one of the most traditional and popular dishes in most countries of the world during Christmas days, and in the United States and Canada to celebrate Thanksgiving. Depending on the region, they usually cook the turkey in the oven, roast, stuffed, with garnish, etc., all of them delicious and ideal recipes for these festivities.

ingredients 

1 turkey thawed and cleaned (4 kg)

black pepper to taste

1 tablespoon mustard

1 cup dry white wine or 

salt to taste

melted butter to inject (to taste)

3 cups of chicken stock

1 cup of melted butter

2 large onions cut into small pieces

4 cloves of garlic

1 teaspoon soy sauce (optional)


preparation

Start by preheating the oven at medium temperature

In a blender, add onions, garlic, mustard, wine, 1 cup of chicken stock, butter, pepper, soy sauce and salt

You can use other spices for this preparation (such as chives, oregano, bay leaves)

Beat everything well until it forms a creamy paste. 

Pour the mixture into a container and add the rest of the chicken stock.

Stir well and set aside. 

Place the turkey in a large, deep container .

With a paper towel, dry the whole bird and remove the apparent moisture .

Spread the seasoning all over it .

Refrigerate and soak for 1 hour or more .

Remove the turkey from the refrigerator.

Remove excess marinade from bottom of pan and set aside .

Stuff the turkey to taste and gently loosen the bird's skin. 

Prick the bird carefully with the help of a fork.

Use an injector and place the melted butter and reserved marinade in the holes .

Rub it all over the bird again, paying attention to all the hidden corners .

Carefully pull the skin into place  .

Sew the turkey's legs with string  

Cover everything with aluminum foil and bake for 3 hours .

Don't forget to bathe the bird every 30 minutes with the broth that forms at the bottom of the pan .

Remove the foil from the rest of the bird and only wrap the tip of the thigh bones .

Take it back to the oven to brown the breast (for approximately 20 minutes).

You can pass a little honey on the turkey breast to speed up this process.
