Czech christmas fish soup



This fish soup is the Christmas eve main dish in Czech .In czech Christmas eve is fish centered and they like to have a fish soup .This soup can only be eaten alone or bread .It is full of protiens of fish , carbohydrates of poatoes and many other nutrition . You should surely add a fish head to flavor the soup . They serve this soup with croutans .

Preparation time ; 30 minutes

Ingredients

Fish parts (roe ,carps etc)
1 carp head or another fish head , cleaned 
1.25 l of water
4 tablespoons root vegetables cut into strips, potatoes /celery and carrots etc.
1 onion
1.5 tablespoons semi-coarse flour
chopped green parsley
1.5 tablespoons butter
whole black pepper
nutmeg
salt

Preparation 

Remove the gills from the carp head and wash it thoroughly. Then cook in salted water with onions for about an hour.

 Meanwhile, fry the root vegetables in butter, pour a little fish broth, add the sliced ​​fish entrails and cook everything for about a quarter of an hour.

 Lightly fry flour in butter and  add to it. Drain the remaining  broth and add to the cooked vegetables with fish entrails. 

Season with nutmeg, we can add cooked meat selected from the fish head and finally sprinkle with  parsley. 

It is customary to serve pieces of fried bread (croutons) with fish soup .
