Christmas gravy for Turkey



Christmas turkey is not complete without gravy .This is a very easy way to prepare it .

 Christmas turkey , to make our sauce for turkey we will need broth. This broth can be chicken, chicken or turkey and you can make it homemade, with concentrates or  with fresh meat it .

preparation time ; 10 minutes
serves ; 5

 3 cups of  chicken broth
juice from turkey roasting tray
 1 cup of red wine, substitute with more broth +a little vinegar 
 1 teaspoonful of oregano
 1 teaspoon of thyme
 1 pinch of Salt and Pepper
 cornstarch or wheat flour , cornstarch is better than plain flour for this gravy


preparation 

If you have already prepared the roast turkey, it is important that you also include all the juice that has been released during cooking.


Put the broth together with the turkey cooking juice and wine in a saucepan. Start cooking this mixture on low heat for about 15 minutes .

It is possible that fat will rise to the surface during cooking, if so use a slotted spoon or a spoon and remove all this excess.

After this time, add the herbs to flavor the sauce and add a little dissolved cornstarch to thicken it. Continue cooking for another 10 minutes.

Cook until it reduces to taste and has the thickness you want.

Place the Christmas sauce in a sauce boat right in the center of the table along with the Christmas turkey so that everyone can add to their liking
