Christmas pork or lamb chops

 An easy preparation of lamb or pork chopped baked in tomato sauce with vegetables is an incredible best dish for Christmas dinner as well as xmas eve .These chops are a delicious and easy way to celebrate the holiday season. They are made with a simple marinade of herbs and spices, and then grilled to perfection. Serve them with your favorite sides for a festive and satisfying meal.


Preparation time ; 60 minutes

Ingredients:

10 smoked chops

200 grams of bacon

1/2 liter of tomato puree

500 grams of small or medium potatoes

Chopped onion to taste

1/2 kilo of vegetables to taste

minced garlic to taste

ground pepper to taste

Preparation:

 In a frying pan, fry half of the bacon for a few minutes and add the chopped potatoes (if they are small, divide them into four, if they are medium, into eight) just so that they brown a little. Remove from heat.


 In another pan, fry the rest of the bacon, add the chopped onion and continue frying until transparent. Add the tomato puree, garlic and pepper, stir slowly and wait for it to come to a boil. Then remove from the fire.


In a refractory container, place the chops, on top of the potatoes with the bacon from step 1, distribute the vegetables and at the end add the tomato sauce from step 2.


 Cover with aluminum foil and bake at medium heat for 40 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked (you can test by pricking a potato with a fork).
