Ingredients

For the syrup: (gingerbread spice syrup)

½ tsp  ginger bread spice

500 ml water

500 g sugar

For the cocktail:

10 ml  syrup

5 ml Cranberry juice

5 ml orange juice

some sugar

25 ml Whipped cream

some vanilla sugar

some Food coloring powder in gold ,optional

preparation

I made the gingerbread spice syrup with half a packet of gingerbread spice, 500 ml of water and 500 g of sugar .

Mix the ingredients and let them simmer for 10 minutes, fill them into sterile bottles and let them cool down.

With orange juice and cranberry juice, make sure that the sugar content is not too similar, otherwise it cannot be stratified. If necessary, add sugar to the orange juice.

Pour 10 ml of the spice syrup into a glass (approx. 150 ml volume). Layer the orange juice (hold a spoon to the edge of the glass and let the juice slowly run over it, or work with a cocktail layer aid, if available). Also top up the cranberry juice.

Pour the cream whipped with vanilla and sugar (so that it can still be poured easily) as a "blanket of snow" and decorate with a little gold powder (rub through a sieve with a spoon for even and fine distribution).

If on hand, serve with a Christmas cookie, Christmas napkin, and straw.

When drinking it is best to move the straw through the layers, if you stir the layers, it looks like mud punch, but tastes good anyway
