The special thing in this is black pudding , an british black sausage .It gives the special look and taste to this .It is uneasy to find so i added normal giant sausages .Black pudding is essential for the colour but if you do not have you can use normal sausages or even ham.

Ingredients
1 kg meat of pumpkin, diced into small pieces
1 Apple, sour, diced into small pieces
2 Potato (s), finely diced
1 Chilli pepper (s), small, diced
1 Onion (s), finely diced
2 tbsp Clarified butter
salt and pepper
600 g Black pudding sausages, sliced ( if you cannot find use ham or sausages )
3 tbsp Breadcrumbs
1 Gingerbread, dry, ground into fine crumbs
2 tbsp oil
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 F or 175 c.
Sauté the onions in the clarified butter, add the pumpkin, apple and potatoes, slowly simmer together with the chilli pepper without adding any liquid. Season with salt and pepper, mash with a fork to a coarse puree.
Put the puree in a greased, flat gratin dish, cover with the black pudding slices. Mix the breadcrumbs and gingerbread crumbs, pour over the black pudding slices, drizzle with the oil.
Bake in the oven under the grill until the black pudding slices and breadcrumbs are crispy.
