Ingredients

 1 can of tomato paste

 2 cans of mixed beans

 3 tablespoons molasses or sugar

 2 tablespoons light maple syrup

 2 tablespoons brown sugar

 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tsp broth powder

 2 pinches of sea salt

 fresh spinach leaves

 1/2 lb ground beef

1 tbsp chili powder

1/4 tsp turmeric , skip if do not like

Preparation

In a skillet over high heat, fry the ground beef with the chili powder and turmeric in canola oil. Separate the meat into grains and mix well with a wooden spoon.

When the meat is cooked, add a small amount of water directly on it. When the water boils, add the broth, cayenne pepper and garlic powder. Stir well and simmer for a little while.

Incorporate the tomato paste. Stir well with a spoon to obtain a uniform color. Leave to cook for five minutes while stirring.

While the mixture is cooking, in a metal bowl, combine the two cans of beans, molasses and maple syrup. Integrate with beef. Add the brown sugar and stir to make the mixture evenly. Add the cinnamon and salt. Cook and stir for ten minutes.

Lower the heat to medium. Take the fresh spinach leaves, about three handfuls (more or less, to taste). Tear the spinach in his hands and toss it in the chili. Mix everything for five minutes.

Serve hot in bowls.
