Christmas bean stew

 



This hearty and comforting Christmas bean stew is perfect for a festive winter meal. It’s packed with beans, sausages, eggs and spices, and it’s sure to warm you up on a cold night. This stew is made with a variety of beans, including kidney beans, black beans, and pinto beans. It also inspired by Hungarian dish ,Solet. It’s served with rice or bread, and it’s sure to be a hit with your family and friends.

Ingredients


2 large chicken or goose legs 

1 white beef steak 

1 sausage

3 eggs

1 giant or 2 medium onions

1.2 kg of beans 

1 heaped teaspoon paprika

1 bay leaf

1 bellpepper

water



Preparation 

Spread the sliced ​​onion in the bottom of one leg, put the washed meat on it, from which we leave only the goose together, put the rest cut into larger slices in the pan, then pour the washed beans on the meat. 

Put in the bay leaf and screw in the fresh pepper. Put some thoroughly washed eggs in the pan as well. 

 Finally, sprinkle with pepper  and pour water over it to cover everything. Bring the pan to a boil over a heat while heating the oven to 100C. 

When the it  is boiling, cover with foil and place to bake .

 For 12 hours we have nothing else to do but sometimes replenish the water on it. If we wait patiently, the result is guaranteed, and it will be perfect, the flesh will crumble, the beans will be soft, baked a little crispy on the top layer.
