Homemade lime lemon soda

4 nos lemon

1 tsp sugar

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup chilled water

1 cup soda

few icecubes


Instructions

Cut lemons into half,squeeze them using a lemon squeezer to extract juice.

Now gather all the ingredients and keep it ready.First take the serving glass.Add lemon juice(a tbsp or so),then add salt and sugar as per your preference.

Add 1/4 cup water,mix well using a spoon.Stir it until sugar dissolves completely.

Add icecubes,then pour soda.


Ginger ale 

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 cups chopped peeled ginger (7 ounces)

2 cups water

3/4 cup sugar

About 1 quart chilled seltzer or club soda

About 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice

PREPARATION

Make syrup:

Cook ginger in water in a small saucepan at a low simmer, partially covered, 45 minutes. Remove from heat and let steep, covered, 20 minutes.

Strain mixture through a sieve into a bowl, pressing on ginger and then discarding. Return liquid to saucepan and add sugar and a pinch of salt, then heat over medium heat, stirring, until sugar has dissolved. Chill syrup in a covered jar until cold.

Assemble drinks:

Mix ginger syrup with seltzer and lime juice (start with 1/4 cup syrup and 1 1/2 teaspoons lime juice per 3/4 cup seltzer, then adjust to taste .



Homemade lemonade 


1 ¾ cups white sugar


8 cups water


1 ½ cups lemon juice

In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.



Remove seeds from lemon juice, but leave pulp. In pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, lemon juice and remaining 7 cups water


Sugar syrup 

1 cup sugar , raw cane or granulated sugar

1 cup water



Instructions

Measure 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water. 

Combine the sugar and water in a small to medium sauce pan (whatever you have available) 

Heat the sugar and water on low until the sugar has melted.

It doesn’t take long to melt, so watch it closely. Once it’s melted, let it cool to room temperature and then store it in an airtight glass jar.
