Christmas punch

 


This is a really nice festive and healthy Christmas punch .We do not add champagne , rum or other suitable liquor because to fit to children. But you can add them before serving .

We garnish these punch with fresh fruits and lime slices .I normally make these punch from fruit cordials as in this season i am unable to find fresh juices .If you cannot find ale lime lemon soda would be a nice substitute .

Ingredients

blackcurrant / cranberry juice / pomegranate juice  (refrigerated) - 2 liters

pineapple juice (refrigerated) 1/2 liter

Almond extract  2 teaspoons

ginger ale (refrigerated) - 1 liter

Fresh cranberries / pomegranate berries and limes (optional)

ice cubes (optional)

Add currants / cranberries / seeds of pomegranate and ice


preparation


Place the currant / pomegranate  juice, the pineapple juice and the almond extract in a large bowl and mix. Add cranberry or pomegranate berries and lime slices. Pour the ginger ale and mix.

Just allow the ice to chill (5 minutes max.) And serve immediately to avoid losing gas.

Tips: In an adult version, you can add champagne, brandy or rum
