Christmas Chocolate Bark

The recipe  is absolutely perfect for the holiday season .It is super quick to make, it's a great idea for a gourmet gift and  it's good without common sense .Dried apricots and cranberries go so well with chocolate, it's a blend of thunder .

You can also use candied fruits like cherries , pineapple ,citrion instead of dried fruits and nuts .

                            Preparation time ; 15 minutes

1 pkg. (8 squares)  Semi-Sweet Chocolate , chopped

1 pkg. (6 squares)  White Chocolate , chopped

1 cup toasted whole almonds

1/2 cup each of dried cranberries and chopped dried apricots

*** You can use candied fruit instead of dried fruits and  nuts .It  will taste greatly .

In small microwave-safe bowl, microwave semi-sweet chocolate for 2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted. Stir until completely melted; put aside. Repeat with the white chocolate, in another bowl.

You can also do this in a double boiler . But it is harder than microwaving .

Add half of the almonds, cranberries and apricots to each chocolate; stir until well combined.

Place spoonfuls of the chocolate mixes on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet, alternating the chocolates. Marble several times with a knife.

Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until the bark is firm. Break into 24 pieces. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
