Christmas soda

 This is very famous christmas drink called julbrus in northern europe .This became a favorite among the adults, but the children were a little more skeptical of the tastes.

Ingredients

9 L Water

35 gr Red chili

190 gr Ginger ( completely cleaned)

1 kg Demerara sugar

1.6 kg Raspberries, Frozen

Instructions


Boil the water

Stir in Ginger and Chili

Cook for about 20 minutes

Add raspberries and sugar

Cook for another 5 minutes

Fill the soda barrel through a sieve.

Put 2-3 bar pressure on the barrel (CO²).

Let it cool in the refrigerator

For normal carbonation, leave it on the dish in the fridge for 1 week.

 For fast carbonation, take out the dish immediately after it has reached refrigerator temperature, and shake, add more CO² and shake more.
