Christmas fruit salad

 


This salad is very simple to prepare. You must bear in mind that it is a salad with a high sugar content; however, it is very delicious.

 The fruit in syrup facilitates the process of preparing this salad, in addition to giving it a unique flavor, however, you can choose to use natural fruit. This is a healthier option, but the flavor will vary, in addition to the fact that the process will be longer and then you will need to substitute the syrup in the dressing, which you can do with a little honey

preparation time ; 30 minutes

1 can of peaches in syrup , i used mangoes as i could not found

1 can of fruit cocktail in syrup 

1 can of pineapple in syrup

5 red apples

½ kg of cream , can be substitued with yoghurt for an healthy option

1 can of condensed milk

*** you can use fresh fruits with  1/2 cup of sugar syrup or a little honey


How to make  it 


The first thing you should do is drain all the fruit that is in syrup very well; keep the syrup aside as you can use it later.Or use fresh fruits  and make a sugar syrup or get honey

In the case of apples, you will have to dessed them and chop them into small pieces.

In a salad bowl put all the fruit and mix it well. . Mix the cream and condensed milk separately and beat very well until you get a uniform mixture; While you are mixing, gradually add 1½ of the syrup or a honey if you are using fresh fruits.

Add the cream and condensed milk mixture to the salad bowl and beat very well until the fruit is completely covered with the mixture.

Chill until served.
