This is a Scandinavian style creamy mashed potatoes . It is perfect with Christmas roasts specially with gooses and ham .We use vanilla like other Scandinavian potato mashes .
pinch of salt and pepper
1 pinch of cinnamon
1 kg potatoes
2 Vanilla pods or 1 tsp of vanilla extract
125 ml milk
1 cups Whipped cream
For the Christmas mashed potatoes, first peel the potatoes, then cook gently in salted water.
In the meantime, add vanilla extract or pods and cream to milk and slowly bring to boil .
Then take out the pods ( if use ) . Drain the potatoes and mash with a fork or a . Stir in the vanilla cream and season with salt, pepper and cinnamon.
