An easy jam to make with grape harvset on any time not just for the christmas
preparation time ; 20 minutes
1 liter of grape juice
500 g jam sugar or sugar with citrus pith / white peel
3 cinnamon sticks
3 star anise
5 peppercorns
4 cloves
1 lemon, juice
1 orange, juice
Heat the grape juice with the spices, lemon and orange juice in a large saucepan and let it steep for about 15 minutes.
Take out the spices. Add jam sugar to the grape juice, bring to the boil and let boil for about 4 minutes.
Take a gelling test.
When the mass is like jelly nicely, pour into the hot rinsed jars and close tightly.
