Christmas chocolate jam

This is a festive jam for christmas with chocolate and apple .It is a liitle different experience as chocolate jam is rare .

preparation time ;  1  hour

2 oranges
750g Granny Smith apples
½ liter of orange juice
1 kg of caster sugar
250 g of  dark chocolate





Wash and dry the oranges. Without peeling them, cut into 4 quarters then cut into segments. Peel and cut the apples into quarters.
In a pot of boiling water, cook the apples over medium heat for 20 to 25 minutes. They should be just cooked. Drain and collect the pieces. Pass  through a sieve  or a blender .
Mix the apple puree with the orange juice  and orange pieces. Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring regularly.
Remove from heat after cooking. Stir in the sugar and the chopped chocolate. Let melt and mix. Give the mixer a turn. Put in bottles .
