Christmas Apple and fruit pie



This shortcrust pastry is made with lot of fruits and spices .You can use melted sugar instead of honey .It's sometimes like christmas mince pies .But  it is so different from mince pies

preparation time ; 1 hour
serves                  ; 4

1 roll of shortcrust pastry
10 g butter
2 apples
3 tangerine oranges
6 dried figs or dates  or apricorts 
6 dried apricots or raisins 
120 g of dates
1/4 candied orange zest
50 g raisins
2 teaspoons of almond powder
1 cardamom pod 
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 tablespoon of honey


Line a buttered pie dish with the shortcrust pastry.

Peel and dice the apples. Peel and separate the quarters of the mandarins. Spread the fruit over the pastry.

Cut the figs, dried apricots, dates and candied orange into small pieces and mix with the raisins.

Spread everything over the apples and tangerines.

Sprinkle with a mixture of almonds, cardamom and cinnamon.

Cover with honey and bake in the oven at 180 ° (th.4) for 30 minutes
