Christmas soft punch

Traditional European christmas punches of english and central European orgin usually use rum or brandy .
That recipe is without alcholic beverages but we use fruit juice to make it tasty..You can use any fruit concentrate according to your taste or use cooked  apple juice named cider .You can make homemade fruit concentrate by simply freezing fruit juice.

1 liter of water
the peel of one large apple
100 ml of fruit or apple concentrate (can be replaced by apple cider 1: 1 with water)
spices: 5 cloves, 1 whole cinnamon, 1 star anise, a quarter teaspoon of ground cardamom
lemon
a few  of salt



Wash and peel a larger apple, put the skins in cold water, add a few of salt and spices and bring to a boil.
Cook for about 10 minutes and add fruit or apple concentrate and cook for another 5 minutes.
If your drink is not too sweet, sweeten it with fruit concentrate or a little honey at the holiday season.
Finally, add a tablespoon of up to two lemon juices.
Serve the punch warm and garnish with a slice of lemon or orange.
