Christmas petit fours

Petit fours are made with  both plain and almond flour and has a  rich amount butter like other french treats . We use candied lemon or orange to make it christmassy .

500 g flour
-250 g sugar
-1 sachet of vanilla sugar , or 1 tsp sugar and 1/2 tsp of vanilla powder or extract 
-250 g of soft butter
-250 g almond powder
-3 egg yolks
-5 g cinnamon
-150 g candied orange or lemon
-1  spoon baking powder

Preheat the oven to th.6 (180 ° C). Mix the flour and the butter in a container. Add the egg yolks, sugar, vanilla, almond powder, cinnamon and baking powder. Mix everything. Shape into a ball and set aside in the fridge overnight. Create  different shapes out of dough and place them on a plate. Take a bowl and put the icing sugar with a little water. Mix them up. Brush  cookies formed with the previous mixture. Place some candied fruit on top and put in the oven for about 15 minutes .
