Christmas eggnog pancakes

Christmas is the best time to drink eggnog .Its festive look and flavor doubles the christmas spirit .I am not going to give you a recipe for eggnog .But this  recipe is actually a festive version of everyday pancakes. We made this using leftover eggnog .You can even use non alcholic eggnog to make them .Remember to make extra eggnog at christmas.

It  will surprise your kids as well as adults with its flavor and smell.

ingredients; 30 minutes

1  cup of plain flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons sugar
½ teaspoons grated nutmeg
1 a ½ cup of eggnog
1 egg
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, 1 tablespoon sugar and nutmeg in a bowl.
Add eggnog, eggs, butter and vanilla extract and mix the smooth dough for pancakes in the absence of any lumps.

Nonstick skillet for pancakes ( if you  have Crepe Makers , use it ) are  heat up to medium and pour the batter on it corresponding to roughly one quarter cup ( depending of course on the diameter of the pelvis ) and it evenly spread over the surface.

As soon as small bubbles start to form on the visible side of the pancake and its edges start to peel off, it's time to turn it to the other side. Fry the other side for about half the frying time of the first, about one minute. We repeat this procedure with all the batter
.
Before serving, sprinkle the finished and ideally still hot pancakes with the mixture we prepared from the remaining two tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon.
