Christmas paella





This is a holiday mixed paella with sausages ,chicken and shrimp .We also add mayo   ,mustard and cuminthat is not regularly use for making paella  but is common in christmas dishes .
I decorate paella with a parsley sprig and lemon wedges.

preparation time ; about 30 minutes 
serves                     , 7 

Ingredients:
6 cups of water
1 tablespoon of salt
3 cups of rice
1 teaspoon of saffron
2 cups of cooked and minced chicken breasts
1 lb. cooked shrimp ,reduce amout if like
500 grs. Spanish chorizo sausage ​​cut into slices ,reduce amout if like 
1/2  cups of tomato without seeds and diced
1/2 cup of pearl onion, finely chopped
1 yellow bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon of mustard
1 tablespoon of cumin powder

Preparation:
Bring a pot to the fire with the water and salt, add the rice and saffron, cook the rice until it is soft. When the rice is ready add the chicken, the shrimp, the chorizo, the tomato, the onion and the pepper to the pot; leave on the fire for 5 minutes. 

Remove from heat.Mix mayonnaise, mustard and cumin in a bowl; add to the paella  and stir until all the ingredients are incorporated. 

Place each serving of paella on a plate and serve.
