Christmas green salad



This is a very healthy holiday salad with apples and lots of greens .You can eat much of this salad if you are dieting .It is best in both its taste ,nutrition and coulour . The dressing is also different and great.

preparation time ; 20 - 30 minutes
serves; 6

1 romaine lettuce
1 iceberg lettuce or another of your choice
3 scallions ( green onions )
1 celery
Optional grated carrot
Optional green apple
¼ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup vinegar
½ teaspoon hot sauce or chili powder
1 tablespoon of parsley
¼ cup walnuts or peeled almonds
¾ cup dried cranberries or raisins 
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup of salt

How to make Christmas green salad

Preparing this salad takes time and work, especially since there is a lot to wash and chop to prepare the ingredients; Still, this tasty salad is worth making for Christmas dinner.

First things first, wash the lettuce, separate the leaves and place them in a salad bowl.
Finely chop the chives and celery into small pieces; add to the salad bowl and stir together with the lettuces.

Crush the peeled almonds and add it to the salad bowl along with the dried cranberries; mix everything together with the rest of the ingredients.

In a separate bowl, mix the oil, vinegar, hot sauce, sugar, and salt; stir well until more or less uniform.
Mix the dressing with the salad and stir well so that everything is well mixed; While stirring, finely chop the parsley and add to the salad.

 Finish mixing everything well.
