Healthy New years salad

Many of us make New Year's resolutions to lose weight because we ate high-calorie foods at Christmas. Especially  meat, Christmas cookies and lots of pastries. Some don't start until the New Year and on New Year's Eve they still eat a lot of potato salad with mayonnaise. Some start eating a little healthier right after Christmas. At home we always make a pasta salad or just a vegetable salad and eat a slice of spelled bread with it. Or even without bread. We really like the salad. Everyone eats .

Serves ; 4

Ingredients

300g white cabbage

2 tomatoes

3 cucumbers

1 pepper

1 can Corn

salt and pepper

For the sauce:

mayonnaise

sour cream

lemon juice

Preparation

Cut the white cabbage into strips. Cut the cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers into small pieces and add to the white cabbage. Add corn from the can. Mix everything together. Salt, pepper and set aside.

In another bowl, mix sour cream with mayonnaise and lemon juice. Add as much mayonnaise as you want the salad to be light/heavy. The less mayonnaise, the fresher the salad tastes. The sour cream gives the salad a better flavor. So add the mayo carefully and slowly and always taste the salad.

Pour the sauce over the chopped vegetables, toss the salad lightly and then chill in the fridge for at least an hour. After an hour, the salad is super delicious. The flavors of all the ingredients will have combined.
